We are happy to announce the selected projects from the HS Fellowship Edition VIII open call! The selection committee was comprised of Edition VIII mentors Kaltrina Krasniqi and Zef Paci, as well as external jurors Lura Limani, Doruntina Vinca, and Rozafa Maliqi.

Eljesa Beka
The project proposal titled "Urime & Përshendetje" (Congratulations & Greetings) explores the complex interplay of emotional connection and separation through the nostalgic medium of radio.
Likana Cana & Diona Kusari
This project aims to document, curate, and demystify women’s connection to the mystical and invisible within the Kosovo region.
Elton Ferati
This project traces the transformation of the meanings, functions, and rituals of marriage during the 1998-1999 war in Kosova. Drawing on wartime marriage accounts, it examines marriage not only as a historically oppressive institution but also as a potential site for meaning-making in times of uncertainty and extreme violence.
Tesa Kabashi & Enis Bytyqi
How do Prishtina’s food spaces function as sites of collective memory? This project addresses a critical gap in cultural documentation by using food spaces as unique archives of everyday life in Kosovo.
Berna Kosova
The central research question guiding this work is: How do cultural, historical, and social factors shape the collective and individual identities of minority communities?
