Archive Fevers: reflections on the making and erasing of history in Kosovo

Vjosa Musliu discusses three moments of the "archive fever" (Derrida, 1998) in Kosovo and deconstructs the politicization of archiving. The first moment examines the creation of the archive as an act of resistance during the '90s. The second moment focuses on the denial of the archive by the defense during the trial against KLA members at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in the Hague. The third moment turns to The Movement for Self-Determination's selective erasure of their own archive.
